Hello, my name is Liesl Van Haute and I am a sophmore Music Education Major with a Voice Concentration and I attend Grove City College. I have been singing as long as I can remember, and nothing brings me more joy than lifting my voice to God. Faith, Family, and Music remain at the center of my life. Two of these will be discussed heavily in this blog.
I have a great love for traditional music and Gregorian Chant. However, I still enjoy the lively contemporary praise music that I seem so surrounded by these days. In this blog I will discuss where these two ends of the musical spectrum belong in worship and how each affect our relationship with God.
